It’s currently nap time in The Brothers’ household, so I wanted to quickly jump on here to finally share Gannon’s 1st birthday photos with you. (i know I know, about time!! Right?) You may have already seen a few of these on my Instagram, but I’m just so in love with the way all of these shots turned out that I of course had to share the FULL photoshoot on here!
If you live in the San Diego area and are searching for a great photographer, Ariana Brookshier is your girl! (And one of my all time favorites to work with!) I honestly can’t rave about her enough! She’s sweet as pie and makes every photoshoot such a breeze and so much fun! This was our first time getting photos taken by her since GanMan was in my belly! Let me tell you, when I got these photos back from Ariana, seeing the way she captured our little family and my big handsome one year old was enough to bring tears to me eyes!!
Gannon is such a sweet, sensitive, and silly little guy. It’s an absolute blast watching his unique little personality come out more and more each day, specially as we’re entering his toddlerhood! My baby boy is getting so big, so fast! You always hear people say, “time flies” or “enjoy these years because they grow up in the blink of an eye,” but you don’t fully feel how true those statements are until you have a child of your own. I know it sounds so cliche, but time really is such a thief.
With every month Gannon grows older I always catch myself saying, “this is my favorite age!” But honestly, I think this really could be my favorite age! My little ONE YEAR OLD! This age has definitely brought more challenges than probably all of the months prior, but it’s also brought a HEAP OF FUN! I’ve loved watching our boy go from taking those first steps, to running around the house and getting into everything he can get his tiny hands on! He’s learning so many new words and discovering new things daily. Always pointing at things and asking, “what’s that!?!” Gahhh, it’s just such a joy being his mom. Yep, I think THIS could be my favorite age! 😀
