34 WEEKS of growing you🧸
(…except I’m already 36 weeks this weekend, so sharing super late as always)🙈

I’ll be honest, I’ve probably only got just one bumpdate left in me after this. Especially with the way our kiddos like to make their debut at 38 weeks!

Baby bro is weighing in at….
I’m just gonna guess a lot😂 I feel pretty gigantic at this point. My app says he was around 5.2lbs at 34 weeks, so he’s probably 6lbs. by now? woah!😳

Our other kiddos’ birth weights just for fun…
Gannon: 6lbs. 12oz.
Ledger: 9lbs.
Bentley: 6lbs. 7oz.

What’s your guess for baby4!?
I’m just praying under 9lbs. for the sake of pushing him out😅

LIFE LATELY:
▫️We did confirm he’s head down, thank you thank you baby boy🙌🏼
▫️ My lung infection has been gone and I feel a million times better! Only took two rounds of lung steroids + one round each of two different antibiotics
▫️Braxton Hicks have really picked up lately!
▫️The house addition has made some great progress recently, so mama is pretty over the moon about that🥲
▫️I finally went through the hand-me-down clothes + washed and put away baby boy’s things!

COMING UP:
▫️Installing the car seat this week!
▫️Packing the hospital bag this week!
▫️Getting a growth scan soon at my 36 week appointment!

3 weekends left until we’re officially on baby watch!!!

BABY4, accident or planned? I’m here to spill the tea🫖

ANSWER: baby4 was actually quite overly planned, just like our other 3 kiddos! However, baby4’s timing was quite literally the biggest surprise of my life😂

Confused? Allow me to be a complete oversharer😆

At the end of 2022 we made a plan to revisit conceiving a 4th baby in November of 2023, giving ourselves the whole year ahead to make progress on the house addition + Aaron wanted an August baby.
(Aug. baby = Nov. conception)

The closer we came to November the more ready we felt. The house still wasn’t finished, but basing a lifelong decision on right now’s circumstances started to feel like less of a good enough reason to stop us.

So November came, I checked my cycle for the month and my ovulation fell on both the first AND last weeks of the month. We calculated the due dates and knew that we’d need to conceive on the last week of November to get our August baby.

WELL…
The weekend before Thanksgiving came, but my period didn’t.

Saturday…. Sunday…. Monday…. nothing.
I was slightly annoyed because this was supposed to be my last period before we started trying and I was excited to get it over with!

Tuesday… Wednesday… okay wtf?
We’re preparing to camp for Thanksgiving weekend and I should practically be off by now, but here I am still on watch! I was literally putting a “just in case” tampon in when we’d leave the house you guys🙈

But still we’d get home from running errands and…
Nothing.
Nothing.
Still nothing.

Thursday… Thanksgiving Day.
I’m checking every hour on the hour and still, nothing.

We get to the campsite at 8:00pm and at 8:35pm I’m officially talked into taking a pregnancy test just for my sanity.

I was 100% certain that I was wasting a test and bound to finally start that night….

Then BOOM!!
Darkest positive I’ve literally ever seen. So dark in fact, it was a total dye stealer!

I have never been so shocked in my life, can you tell😂

To wrap this all up…
God laughed at our plan and proved that his plans are always better🥰 Baby4’s place in our family was always meant to be! He’s just the one with a spicier conception story🌶️ #pulloutbaby

EXTERIOR HOUSE UPDATE! This one has been a long t

EXTERIOR HOUSE UPDATE!

This one has been a long time comin’! After 2 years + 3 months since we broke ground on this home addition, things are finally starting to feel much closer to finished over here! We still have a little ways to go on the inside, but take a look at this transformation on the outside!!!

Of course there’s a few small details to add to the exterior down the road, but we’re at the tail end of this thing now and I am totally BLOWN AWAY!!!😍

She’s finally starting to look and feel like one home, but doubled in size!

It will forever amaze me that my husband and father-in-law built this entire 1,050 sq. ft. addition with their own two hands and ultimately brought Aaron and I’s dream to life🥹

Baby bro is weighing about 3 lbs. now and measuring close to 15 inches! He’s movin’ and groovin’ a ton these days! The kids, AarBear, and myself all love to watch my belly do funny things and feel him bumpin’ around in there.

LIFE LATELY….
▫️We passed our Glucose Test!
▫️I’ve been fighting (yet another) lung infection for the past several weeks. Oddly enough, I had this while pregnant with Bentley also and it’s the worst! I’ve already been to Urgent Care twice now, really hoping it goes away soon😑
▫️We have our last 4D ultrasound to look forward to soon! I can’t wait to see his sweet face and if he resembles one of the kids, or looks different!

8 weekends left to work on the house until we’re on baby watch!!!

25 WEEKS of growing you🧸
(currently 26 weeks 4 days already)

Sweet boy, your big sissy is waiting for you. She is so proud! She can’t wait to “hold him very nice,” w/ her arms held up in a cradling position. She tells me all the time ♡

Our boy is weighing in at about 2lbs. and measuring around 13.5 inches from head to toe! I’m getting really curious how big he’ll be at birth seeing as our other three babes were 6lbs. 12oz, 9lbs, and 6lbs. 7oz. Kind of all over the place! Just low-key hoping we keep this guy well under that 9 pound mark😅

Lots more movement from this little dude lately! Ledger laid his head on my belly yesterday and baby boy kicked him right in the cheek, he thought it was hilarious😆

We also started our diaper stash this week!
PSA: Costco is having a killer deal on Huggies right now, $10.50 off! Don’t walk, run!

I feel like I blinked and over half of my pregnancy has passed by, I really wish I could slow it down🥺

12 weekends left to work on the house before baby4 makes his debut! (all of our babies have come in the 38th week, but we’ll see if this boy surprises us)
